The Book of Changes divination

The Book of Changes is an ancient divination that according to the legends was founded by Emperor Fu Hsi three thousand years BC. The system of 64 hexagrams is used for the divination, each hexagram has six lines. They are called the successive steps of a developing situation. Solid lines symbolize positive energy, kindness, light; broken lines – negative energy, darkness and weakness.

Throw three coins to start the divination, and then calculate points depending on what side the coins have fallen down. The type of the line (solid or broken) can be determined accordingly.



Attention! Prior the divination, formulate a question in mind. Focus on the situation you want the Book of Changes tell you the future about.

Please, read the recommendations to the divination

  • do not ask the same question, the first answer given by the Book is always the preferable one
  • do not try to get answers to all your questions at once. The Book requires concentration
  • do not be upset if the answer the Book gave was disappointing. Follow the Book’s recommendation and the situation will improve
  • make sure the thing you have in mind will not harm the others. The Book is the creation of light, it does not tolerate the evil.
