Life is meaninglessly repeating itself. Until you become alert, it will repeat itself in a circle. That is why Buddhists call it the wheel of life and death - the wheel of time. It moves like a wheel: after birth comes death, after death comes birth, after love follows hate, after hate - love, after success comes failure, after failure - success.
Just watch. If you can observe just for a few days, you will see an emerging pattern, a pattern of a circle, a wheel. One fine morning you will feel well and happy, but the next day you will feel so sad that you will start thinking about suicide. One day you were so full of life, so blissfully happy that you felt gratitude towards God and were in a state of deep appreciation, but the next day you were complaining and couldn’tsee why you should continue to live. And it goes on and on, and you do not see system. But when you see a pattern, you can break it.
This card depicts a huge wheel representing time, destiny, and karma. Galaxies revolve around this constantly moving circle, and twelve zodiac signs appear on this circle. Inside this circle, there areare eight trigrams I Ching, and even closer to the center there are four vectors, each of which is illuminated by the energy of lightning. At this moment, the shining triangle is directed upward, towards the divine, and the Chinese symbol of Yin and Yang, male and female, creative and perceiving, lies in the center.
It is often said that the only unchanging thing in the world is change itself. Life is constantly changing, developing, dies and gets reborn. All opposites play a role in this unlimited circular rotation. If you cling to the edge of the wheel, you may feel dizzy! Move towards the center of the cyclone and relax by knowing that this too will pass.
