Osho Zen Tarot: GOING WITH THE FLOW

Osho Zen Tarot: GOING WITH THE FLOW

When I say "become water," I mean to become a stream. Do not be dead-water. Move and move like water. Lao Tzu says: "The path of the Tao is like the movement of a river." It moves like water. What is the movement of water or a river? This movement has several amazing aspects. One of them is that the movement of water is always directed towards the deep, because it is always looking for a deeper level. Also, it is unambitious; it never wants to be the first, it always wants to be the last.

Remember what Jesus said: "The last ones will be the first in the kingdom of God." He spoke of the similar river-like path of the Tao — without mentioning it, but speaking of it. Be the last one and be unambitious. Ambition means moving up. Water flows down, it seeks a deeper level, it wants to be nothing. Water does not want to be unique, exceptional, or unusual. It has no concept of ego.

The person on this card is completely relaxed and light in the water, letting it carry him wherever it wants. He has mastered the art of being passive and accepting without boredom or drowsiness. He is receptive of the currents of life; he never has thoughts of “I don't like this” or “I prefer a different path”. In every moment of life, we have a choice to enter the waters of life and swim along with them, or try to swim against the current.

When this card appears in the layout, this means that now you can swim, trusting that the destiny will support you in your relaxation and will bring you exactly where you want to go. Allow this feeling of trust and relaxation to grow more and more; everything that is happening is going on exactly as it should.
