Osho Zen Tarot: INTERGRATION

Osho Zen Tarot: INTERGRATION

Conflict occurs inside a person. Until it resolves internally, it cannot be resolved anywhere else. Politics is inside you. It is between the two halves of the mind.

There is a very small bridge. If this bridge accidentally collapses due to some physiological defect or any other reason, the person becomes split, he becomes two people - schizophrenia sets in, or a split personality. If the bridge is destroyed - and it is very fragile - you become two people, you behave like two people. In the morning you are loving, amazing, and in the evening you are angry, you are completely different. You do not even remember your morning state. How could you remember? A different mind was functioning- and one man became two. If this bridge is strengthened so that two minds disappear and become one, then there is a union (integration), crystallization. This is what George Gurdjieff called the crystallization of being - when two minds become one and a meeting of male and female, Yin and Yang, right and left, logical and illogical, a meeting of Plato and Aristotle takes place.

The image of integration is a mystical unity, a union of opposites. This is the time of the unification of previously experienced dualities of life. It is not when the night opposes the day, or when darkness suppresses light, but when, acting together, they form a single union, endlessly turning into each other. And each of them contains in its deepest core the seed of its opposite.

The eagle and the swan represent flight and majesty. The eagle is the embodiment of power and unity. The swan represents the embodiment of space and purity. He is swimming gently, dunking and re-emerging from the elements of emotion, completely satisfied and full of perfection and beauty.

We are a union of the eagle and the swan, male and female, fire and water, life and death. The card of Integration is a symbol of self-creation, a new life and a mystical union, also known as alchemy.
