Osho Zen Tarot: STRESS

Osho Zen Tarot: STRESS

All personal goals are neurotic. A person who has understood the essence eventually comes to the understanding and feeling that he is inseparable from the whole, and he does not need to look for his fate.

Anything can happen, everything changes – let’scall it God ... he controls all the events. They happen on their own. A person who has realized it, does not need to fight, does not need to make efforts, does not need to conquer anything. He can relax and just let be. A person who has learned the essence of things is not a doer. A random person is a doer, and, of course, he is always in anxious, tense, stressed, tormented – he is constantly sitting on the volcano that is about to erupt. A volcanic eruption can begin at any second, because this person lives in a world of uncertainty and believes that the world is predefined. This creates tension in his being: deep down, though, he knows that nothing is ever certain.

You probably know many people who take on too much from time to time, create too many prospects, too much futile work, and, eventually, they suddenly get the flu or fall down and break their legs. This is just the "dirty trick" that a little monkey with a pin in its hand is going to do the "orchestra man" depicted here!

The state of stress presented on this card occasionally occurs to all of us, but people who strive for excellence are especially susceptible to it. We create it ourselves, thinking that nothing will happen without our involvement – especially exactly as we want it! What makes us think that we are so special? Do you think that the sun will not rise in the morning if you have not personally set the alarm? Take a walk, buy flowers or have a picnic with a loved one – anything unimportant will do. Simply get outside the reach of this monkey.
