Zen teaches us: "Get out of your head and move towards your main source."
This does not mean that Zen does not realize that we need to use the energy of the mind. He teaches us that if all the energy is usedby the mind, you will never realize your eternity. You will never learn from personal experience what it means to be one with the whole.
When the energy is exactly in the middle, when it pulsates, when it does not move anywhere – neither to the head, nor to the heart –but when it stays inside the source itself, to be used from there by both the heart and the head – this is the meaning of Zazen. Zazen simply means sitting at the source, without any movement. Then, enormous power arises, the transition of energy into light and love, into a greater life, into compassion, and into creativity. This energy can take many forms. But first, you will have to find out how to be at the source. Then the source will decide where your potential is. You can relax at the source and it will lead you to your greatest potential.
When we talk about being rooted or centered, we are talking about this exact Source. When we start a creative project, we tune in to this Source.
This card reminds us that we have access to a huge supply of energy. It reminds us that we reveal it without thinking or planning, but by becoming rooted, centered and quiet enough to reach the Source. It is inside each of us, as a personal, individual sun that gives us life and nourishment. It is pure energy, pulsating and accessible, which is ready to give us everything we need in order to accomplish something, and is ready to welcome our return home when we want to relax.
