You have been released from prison, from the cage. Now, you can spread your wings – the whole sky is yours. All the stars, the moon and the sun belong to you. You can disappear into the blue of the beyond ... Simply stop clinging to the cage, move away from the cage, and all the heavens are yours. Spread your wings and fly towards the sun like an eagle.
In the inner sky, in the inner world, freedom is of the highest value. Everything else is secondary, even bliss and ecstasy. Thousands of flowers grow there, a countless amout of flowers! But they can only spring in an atmosphere of freedom.
The bird depicted on this card looks out from what appears to be a cage. There is no door, and, in fact, the cage is disappearing. The cage was an illusion, and this little bird was called by the grace, freedom, and approval of other birds. She is spreading her wings, ready for her first flight.
Getting a new understanding that the cage was always open, and the sky was always available to explore, can make us initially feel insecure. This is good, because incertitude is natural. However, do not let it obscure the opportunity to experience the carelessness and sense of adventure that comes with uncertainty.
