4♣ - Four of Clubs
card of intellectual satisfaction
The Four of Clubs is a card of stability; however, the Club Five as its Karmic Card indicates the inherent hidden restlessness in it, which can manifest itself in various ways. People with this Birth Card are progressive and able to apply creative ideas in their work, without allowing themselves to be distracted from moving towards success. They have firm beliefs and do not change them depending on outside influences, unless they see important reasons for such a change. The word "stubbornness" applies to the Four of Clubs in almost all areas of their life. They love to argue, as they usually emerge victorious from discussions, and they also usually win all lawsuits.
The Four of Clubs are endowed with a strong physique and are not afraid of physical work. This is one of the most successful cards in the deck. Club Fours do well in trade. They love to talk to other people about their beliefs and worldview. If they keep their passion for discussion under control, they generally maintain a reputation as excellent workers. However, this is not enough for them. The Four of Clubs want to achieve the same success in the love sphere, and this becomes their main life task.
Often, behind the determination and pressure of the Club Fours is a thirst for recognition from others, despite the fact that they themselves are very reluctant to acknowledge the merits of other people. In addition, the thirst for success in work competes in their soul with the thirst for love. In the later years of life, the Four of Clubs usually achieve success in everything and reach a high material level. Club Fours are known as "keepers of knowledge". They demonstrate to everyone that information has practical value and that a person can achieve happiness and prosperity by using what is given to them by nature.
The need for love is the main goal in life for the Club Fours. Combined with some restlessness and fear of dedicating themselves to one partner for life, this need can sometimes be the cause of incredibly painful love relationships. But this is by no means true for all Club Fours. In general, this card has good romantic karma. If the Four of Clubs finds a partner who strives for emotional closeness with their beloved, they will be happy.
The Page of Spades as the Venus Card warns the Club Four against relationships with immoral and dishonest people. If the Club Fours choose to live at a low level, they will become the most romantic, but also the most dishonest, lovers. Or they will attract partners with similar qualities to themselves. The Club Fours often gravitate towards creative and artistic people, but among their partners there are often people with a dubious reputation. However, the same Spade Page can also manifest at a high level, attracting spiritually oriented partners to the Club Fours. The prospects for relationships in such cases will be much more fruitful.
Club Four women easily make friends with Spade men and attract men of the Heart and Club suits to themselves. Relationships with Club men are not easy for them. Club Four men have a weakness for Club women, as well as Spade women (especially if they themselves are under 24 years old, i.e. acting in the role of their Personal Card - the Club Page).
Since the Page of Spades is the Venus Card of the Club Four, people with this Birth Card often have love affairs with dishonest and immoral partners. The Page of Spades is the card of the actor and the thief. Therefore, the lovers of the Club Fours often become musicians, artists, actors or people with a questionable reputation. Even in the case of a happy marriage, the Four of Clubs can worry about their spouse. For example, one woman born under the influence of the Four of Clubs lived in a happy marriage for thirty years. But when her husband died, she found that for the last twenty years he had been cheating on her with other women. At the same time, he so carefully hid his extramarital affairs that she never suspected anything. This situation is easily explained by the Page of Spades card.
The Page of Spades is the strongest of all the Pages in the deck, and if its creative potential is expressed in a negative way, it can become an unparalleled liar. Being the most powerful of the Pages, it usually represents both the positive and negative extremes of the Page's character. Therefore, the Club Fours are often either extremely dishonest in their love life themselves, or they attract immoral partners to themselves. This immorality can be expressed in hiding their true intentions, in the sexual exploitation of the partner, in using the partner for the sake of money or career, in constant lying and at the same time in the inability to fully trust anyone.
Let's consider the example of another Club Four woman, who can be called a model of this type of relationship. Her life was filled with many love affairs, and among her partners were mainly musicians and loafers. Each of her romances was always marked by the use of one partner by another. More often, it was this woman herself who was used, since she had more money than her lovers. But once she admitted that she used the money to attract partners to herself and keep them, since she was secretly convinced that her personal charm was not enough for this. This is rather strange, since in fact she was a very attractive woman and could easily captivate a man without any problems. But every time she brought the money issue into her love relationships, her next romance soon ended, leaving her morally drained, and a few times even robbed.
However, the flip side of the Page of Spades is a sign of happiness and love for the Four of Clubs. The fact is that this Page, symbolizing dishonesty and deception, at a high level can also personify spiritual initiation. In our context, spiritual initiation means the awareness of the availability of happiness and the acquisition of a more positive outlook on life, embarking on the path of truth and higher principles. As a rule, the Club Fours enter into a happy marriage after they have developed a life philosophy for themselves and decided to adhere to it firmly. An example of such a positive life philosophy may be the principle of uncompromising honesty and trust in people. First of all, the Club Four must honestly face their own fears that push them to make wrong decisions that lead to such deplorable results. Having got rid of self-deceptions, and then the tendency to deceive others, the Club Four will be able to comprehend the truth about themselves and their love relationships. Thanks to this, it rises to a high spiritual level in love life, which is extremely difficult for almost all other cards in the deck to achieve. Romantic relationships sanctified by the philosophy of truth will give the Four of Clubs incredible spiritual closeness with the partner and true happiness in love. Essentially, this is all that the Club Four strives for - and it is quite accessible to it, if it dares to make an internal change.
